Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hammer Hands!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
19 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Greg Madison!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Madison closes the distance and pushes Hands back into the cage.
Hands wants to take the fight to the mat but Madison manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Madison manages to break the clinch.
Hands changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Madison tries to avoid it but Hands manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Madison to the ground. Madison escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Hands takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Madison drops Hands with a beautiful combination! Hands stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Madison is looking for the KO!
Hands is rocked!
It looks like Hammer Hands has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Madison connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Hands covering up! Madison comes in with a big uppercut and Hands goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Greg Madison!
Hammer Hands was interviewed post fight and said 'The better fighter won tonight. I give respect!!! I'm looking for a rematch!'.
