Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felipe Calderon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Wuzz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
20 - 17 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Felipe Calderon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, David Wuzz! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Calderon closes the distance and clinches. Calderon tries to break free but Wuzz pushes him back against the cage. Calderon scores with a nice hook to the head. Calderon is trying to break the clinch but Wuzz has him pressed against the cage. Wuzz using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Calderon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Calderon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wuzz moves out of range of the leg kick from Calderon. A solid leg kick lands there for Wuzz.
Wuzz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Calderon to the ground. Wuzz is now in Calderon's guard. Wuzz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Calderon swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wuzz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Wuzz is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Calderon is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Calderon has escaped and now he's on top!
Wuzz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Calderon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Calderon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Calderon trying to control the position from guard on top but Wuzz is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wuzz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Calderon doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Calderon manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Wuzz wants to get back to his feet but Calderon is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Calderon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Calderon is posturing up here but Wuzz has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Calderon tries to roll out but it's too tight and Calderon has to tap! Slick submission there by Wuzz!
