Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alan Donaldson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quach Minh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Minh is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: beautiful life. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Donaldson.
Donaldson tries a head kick but it misses.
Minh closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Donaldson sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Minh prevents Donaldson from standing back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Donaldson is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Quach Minh showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Donaldson's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Donaldson wants to clinch.

Minh feints and as Donaldson raises his hands in defense, Minh changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Donaldson is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Quach Minh has got the better of the ground game so far.

Donaldson throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Minh escapes and throws Donaldson's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Minh passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Donaldson!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Minh takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alan Donaldson.
I think Minh has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
