Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Florencio Woods (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Lewis Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ronnie Lewis Jr will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ronnie Lewis Jr! The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Hirohito Nitta and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lewis Jr changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Woods looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. You can see the frustration on Woods's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Lewis Jr takes a little break here. Woods wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Lewis Jr is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Woods knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Woods knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lewis Jr on the ground. Lewis Jr tries to score with some ground and pound. Woods controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Woods pushes Lewis Jr away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lewis Jr gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Woods regains half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lewis Jr throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Woods is holding on to half guard well. Woods is refusing to be controlled, as Lewis Jr sits in half guard. Woods might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lewis Jr missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Lewis Jr not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Woods missing with punches from the bottom.
Woods is looking for a sweep. Lewis Jr is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Lewis Jr throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Lewis Jr frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Lewis Jr lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Woods hang on? Lewis Jr is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Woods has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Woods is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Woods is looking to improve his position but Lewis Jr isn't that keen on the idea. Woods tries to hold on but Lewis Jr postures up. Lewis Jr with the ground and pound from mount. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Woods is squirming around, avoiding Lewis Jr's attempts to control the action.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Woods manages to regain half guard. Good work. Woods tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Lewis Jr has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Woods wants to control but Lewis Jr is having none of it. Lewis Jr scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Lewis Jr looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Woods tries to lock up and control but Lewis Jr gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lewis Jr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Woods looks a forlorn figure.
Woods is rocked! Lewis Jr has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Woods is forced to tap!
