The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handerson shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Graves is trying to defend but Handerson finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Graves pushes Handerson off looking to stand but Handerson dives back in and keeps control.
Handerson is pressing down on Graves's thigh, looking to free his foot. Graves is holding on for now.
Graves trying to get back to full guard but Handerson takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Handerson prevents Graves from getting the reversal.
Handerson cracks Graves with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Graves is in all sorts of trouble here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Graves is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Graves slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Handerson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Handerson is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Graves is hurt! He's hurt bad - Handerson fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Graves from any more punishment! Congratulations to Handerson! Great finish!
