Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tom Kruiz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kruiz comes to the ring accompanied by ZARILA KANDZE. Lee has chosen Wiley - Take That as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tom Kruiz! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
43 - 34 - 1, fighting out of London, Jason Lee! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! No luck for Kruiz with that takedown attempt. Lee will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Kruiz feinted with a counter takedown. Lee throws a body shot but no joy. Lee looks to land a left hand but Kruiz moved out of range nicely. Kruiz tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Lee manages to circle out of the way. Lee chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kruiz wants to pass the guard but Lee is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kruiz advances to half guard. Kruiz is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Lee is just riding it out for now. Kruiz eventually gives up the hold. Kruiz looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Kruiz trying to control from half guard but Lee is working away. Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kruiz. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kruiz is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Kruiz has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Kruiz looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Lee avoids a series of strikes thrown by Kruiz.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kruiz trying to control but he's not successful this time. Lee slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Lee is looking to improve his position.

Lee fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Kruiz is out of range. Kruiz feinted with a counter takedown. A combination from Lee does no damage. Lee throws a body shot but no joy. Kruiz is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lee can do to turn this around? Lee pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kruiz drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Lee lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Kruiz circles away quickly and effectively. Kruiz tries to counter by clinching up but Lee breaks away and moves out of range. Lee tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kruiz was well out of range. Poor timing from Lee. Jason Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee throws a leg kick but Kruiz moved away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee tries a head kick but it misses.

Kruiz looking to secure an arm triangle but Lee defends it well. Kruiz is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Lee to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Lee shrugs it off.

As Lee tries to get set, Kruiz tries to push him back and clinch up but Lee manages to avoid the attempt. Kruiz shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lee sprawls well. Lee wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kruiz gets slowly back to his feet. Lee lunges at Kruiz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kruiz's hand. Jason Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
