Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dickie Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brandon Hale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hale is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Dead Sara - Weatherman. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Brandon Hale!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Anthony Taglia and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Hale finds it's way through Crash's defenses.
Crash goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Hale defending well as Crash loads up on a big left hand.
Hale delivers a nice body kick.
Nice uppercut there from Hale.
Hale has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Crash is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Hale scores with a sloppy right hand. Crash should have avoided that one.
Crash's corner calls for a 1-2. Crash obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Crash has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hale finds it's way round the side to connect with Crash's head.
Hale dips to his left and cracks Crash with an uppercut!


Crash is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Crash throws the left hand but Hale avoids the punch easily.
Crash misses with a kick to the body.
Crash misses with a body shot.
Hale replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Crash blocks it well.
Crash misses with a hook.
Crash scores with a nice body kick.
Crash looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Crash defending well as Hale loads up on a big left hand.
Hale scores with a hook.
Crash misses with a low kick.
Hale blocks a jab.

Crash lands a nice looking body shot.
Crash lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Crash swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Crash tries to land a leg kick but Hale saw it coming and moves away.
Hale throws out a counter right but Crash avoids it with no problem.
Crash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Crash misses the jab.
Crash blocks a jab.
Crash throws a lazy uppercut

and Hale counters with a crisp one two that drops Crash! Hale thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Crash to his feet! Crash is in big trouble!
Oh Crash is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hale takes one to the chin there.
Crash seems to have got his legs back now.
Hale looks to throw the jab but Crash is out of range.
Crash jabs Hale right on the nose. Hale blinks but takes it well.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Crash misses with a hook
and Hale counters with a stiff right hand.
Crash connects with a leg kick. Hale looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Crash checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Hale uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Crash.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hale. Crash does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hale throws a lazy uppercut
and Crash connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Dickie Crash seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Crash swings widly with a right hand
and Hale counters with a leg kick.
Crash tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Crash pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hale moves forwards but Crash connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Crash looks to throw the jab but Hale is out of range.
Good shot there by Crash.
Crash rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Hale counters with a right hand to the body.
Hale defending well as Crash loads up on a big left hand.
Crash dips to his left and cracks Hale with an uppercut!
Hale throws a half hearted mid kick.
Hale connects with an inside leg kick.
Hale avoids the head kick by Crash.
A chopping leg kick lands by Hale.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hale scores with a leg kick.
Some bone on bone action there as Hale checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Hale uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Crash has time to react.
Crash throws a leg kick but Hale moved away.
Crash dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Hale. That did some damage!
Hale connects with an inside leg kick.

Crash forces Hale back against the cage and clinches.
Hale cracks Crash with a nice body shot.
Crash fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Crash throws a knee to the head but misses.
Crash swings wildly with an uppercut but Hale uses good head movement to avoid it.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Crash creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Crash tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Hale lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Crash or not.
Crash lands a knee to the head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hale pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The fighters circle momentarily. Hale darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Hale cracks a nice hook into Crash's ribs.
Hale moves away from the strike by Crash.
Crash throws the left hand but Hale avoids the punch easily.
Hale is trying to counter with his kicks.
Crash misses with an uppercut. Hale saw that one coming.

Hale lands a big head kick that sends Crash tumbling to the mat! Hale takes a step backwards and waves Crash back to his feet - he wants the finish!


It looks like Dickie Crash has been cut.
Hale dodges the punch combination from Crash.
Hale pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Crash misses with a right hand

and Hale counters with a crisp right hand that drops Crash! Hale lets Crash back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Crash doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Crack! Hale connects with the perfect overhand right and Crash falls face first to the canvas. Timbeeeeeeeer! Beautiful knockout for Hale!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Brandon Hale!
A very excited looking Brandon Hale rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
