Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Takashi Kadota! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, AG Pennypacker! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pennypacker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pennypacker wants it to stay on the feet. Pennypacker walks into a left hand. Kadota fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Pennypacker checks it well. Pennypacker checks a leg kick. Pennypacker doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Kadota on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere. A clash of legs there as Pennypacker blocks the low kick. Pennypacker goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Kadota looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kadota ducks under a wild hook from Pennypacker. The fight stays on the outside here - Pennypacker looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Pennypacker misses with a kick to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pennypacker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Pennypacker blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Pennypacker tries to throw a body punch but Kadota avoids it by throwing Pennypacker back against the cage. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Pennypacker. Kadota fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kadota makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. A bit of stalling here from Kadota.
Kadota takes a shot to the head. Kadota throws a punch but it's blocked by Pennypacker. A head punch on the inside from Kadota fails to land. Kadota jumps guard but Pennypacker stands there with Kadota around his waist. Kadota gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Pennypacker counters with a body kick. Kadota throws a body kick that misses. Pennypacker lands with an overhand left. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kadota on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Pennypacker lands a big head kick that sends Kadota tumbling to the mat! Pennypacker takes a step backwards and waves Kadota back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Takashi Kadota has been cut. Pennypacker connects with a solid leg kick. Kadota checks a leg kick. Pennypacker dips down and scores with a jab to the body. A chopping leg kick lands by Pennypacker. Pennypacker lands a nice looking body shot.
Pennypacker cracks a nice hook into Kadota's ribs. Kadota tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Kadota scores with a jab to the head.
Pennypacker darts in and clinches Kadota up against the cage. Kadota jumps guard but Pennypacker turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kadota has Pennypacker pushed against the cage. Pennypacker lands a hook that snaps the head of Kadota backwards. A battle for position here, against the cage. Pennypacker blocks an uppercut.
Pennypacker throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Kadotas head. Kadota swings wildly with an uppercut but Pennypacker uses good head movement to avoid it. Kadota fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kadota swings wildly with an uppercut but Pennypacker uses good head movement to avoid it. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Kadota. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
AG Pennypacker dominated that round. The cut man is working on Takashi Kadota's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kadota tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pennypacker defends well and Kadota ends up having to push Pennypacker into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kadota falls off balance throwing a combination
and Pennypacker finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Kadota has a takedown stuffed. Kadota moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. He'll look to pass Kadota's guard now, I'm sure. Pennypacker with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kadota trying to control the position.

Pennypacker stacks Kadota on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Pennypacker! Kadota takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kadota is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Pennypacker's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pennypacker is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Kadota reverses the position - he's now on top in Pennypacker's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kadota wants to control from the top but Pennypacker keeps moving. Kadota with a flurry of punches that miss. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pennypacker is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Kadota trying to control but Pennypacker is working from the bottom. Pennypacker being controlled here, momentarily. Pennypacker pulls Kadota in close to prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Kadota's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Pennypacker had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Kadota defends it easily. Kadota passes easily into side control. Nice work. Kadota tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Pennypacker tries to improve position but can't. Pennypacker gets back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Pennypacker is concentrating on defense, preventing Kadota from advancing position. Pennypacker is looking to improve his position.
Kadota is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Pennypacker slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Pennypacker wants to sweep but no luck. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Pennypacker lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Pennypacker wants to control from the top but Kadota keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Pennypacker bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Pennypacker throws a leg kick which misses Kadota's front leg but catches the back leg as Kadota tries to avoid it. Pennypacker lands a right hook to the body.
Kadota takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kadota will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Pennypacker connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. A jab from Pennypacker finds it's way through Kadota's defenses. Takashi Kadota seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kadota moves out of range of the body kick from Pennypacker.

Pennypacker lands with a short shot to the head. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Kadota stalls. Kadota changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Pennypacker fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Pennypacker misses with a leg kick. AG Pennypacker seems to be getting the better of the standup. A low kick from Kadota is predictable there and Pennypacker counters with a solid body kick. Pennypacker is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kadota rather than just go for the knockout. Kadota misses with a straight right. Pennypacker explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Takashi Kadota has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Pennypacker lands with a straight right. Kadota didn't see that one coming.
And that's the end of the fight! AG Pennypacker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pennypacker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
