Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ned Bigsbee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bigsbee has chosen Gin & Juice as his entrance music. Ned Bigsbee has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Frank Wells! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Ned Bigsbee! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wells throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bigsbee wants to counter with a clinch but Wells pushes him away. Bigsbee moves out of range of the strikes. Nice sprawl there from Wells as Bigsbee shoots in. Wells misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bigsbee.
Bigsbee is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Wells swinging wildly here.
Wells moves into range and clinches up with Bigsbee. Wells breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Wells thows a left - swing and a miss! Bigsbee wants to counter with a clinch but Wells pushes him away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bigsbee gets tackled into the cage by Wells. Wells maintains the clinch. Bigsbee has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Wells uses from the top position. Wells has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Wells would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bigsbee is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Wells rolls with it to try and escape but Bigsbee cranks on the arm and Wells is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Ned Bigsbee! Ned Bigsbee decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
