Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Ira Dyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jebucki Nury! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Donald Grub and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nury is looking to clinch but Dyer is avoiding it.
Nury misses with a jab, cross combination.
Nury lands with a thumping leg kick.
Dyer dives in for a single leg takedown but Nury sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Jebucki Nury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A head kick misses from Nury. Nury looks winded! Nury throws a sloppy head kick and Dyer moves out of range easily. It looked like Dyer was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Nury gets in close and instigates a clinch. Dyer is trying to drag Nury to the mat but Nury just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Dyer jumps into guard, dragging Nury to the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dyer working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dyer is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Dyer working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Nury doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Nury manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dyer looking to sweep here. No luck so far. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Nury stands up from Dyer's guard - Nury perhaps looking for a knockout. Nury lands with an overhand left. Nury has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dyer is landing a low percentage of strikes. Dyer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nury.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nury misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dyer darts in looking for a takedown but Nury gets double underhooks and turns Dyer into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ira Dyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nury lands a two punch combo.
It looks like Ira Dyer has been cut. Nury throws a hook but Dyer avoids it easily. Nury connects with a good right hand that stumbles Dyer. Dyer circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Dyer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nury pinned against the cage. Nury gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Good shot there by Nury.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dyer fails with a takedown attempt. Dyer shoots in for a takedown but Nury shows good takedown defense. Nury comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Nury throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dyer counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Dyer rushes Nury and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nury digs a right hand underneath Dyer's ribcage. Dyer let out a lung full of air as it connected. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nury lands with a short punch from the clinch.

Jebucki Nury dominated that round. The cut man is working on Ira Dyer's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nury stalks Dyer and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Dyer's face. Dyer staggers backwards, shaken. Nury tries a head kick but it misses.
Dyer throws out a leg kick but Nury moves out of range and Dyer only half commits. Dyer dives in for a single leg takedown but Nury sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Nury throws a lazy head kick and Dyer counters with a thumping low kick. Nury displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Dyer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. No luck for Dyer with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ira Dyer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Nury tries to bum rush Dyer with a series of wild strikes but Dyer uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Nury throws a sloppy head kick and Dyer counters by clinching up. Dyer jumps guard and drags Nury to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Dyer trying to control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dyer is really struggling to control Nury but he's trying to hold on to the position. Nury decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Nury misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Dyer seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Dyer looks for a takedown but Nury sprawls well.

Nury throws out a loose jab but Dyer uses good head movement to avoid it. Nury throws a right hand that Dyer ducks under and follows up with a left that Dyer also avoids with ease. Dyer went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Nury throws an overhand right that lands on Dyer's shoulder, as Dyer tries to avoid the shot. Nury connects with a crisp jab. Nury throws a head kick but Dyer moves out of range.
Dyer is looking for a counter combo. Nury defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dyer. Nury throws a sloppy head kick and Dyer moves out of range easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nury misses with a series of wild punches.

Nury is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Dyer is trying to pull guard but Nury has him pressed against the cage. And that's the end of the fight! Jebucki Nury comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Nury has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
