Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cain Marko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harper comes to the cage accompanied by Das Böse. Marko is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Holocausto. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marko will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Harper stuffs the takedown attempt from Marko. Marko gets slowly back to his feet.
Harper throws a sloppy head kick and Marko moves out of range easily.
Marko changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Harper tries to avoid it but Marko manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Harper to the ground. Harper escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
John Harper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Cain Marko.
Harper changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Marko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Harper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Marko is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Harper tries to score with some ground and pound. Marko controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Harper drops back looking for a leg! Marko is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Marko manages to kick Harper off! Harper jumps back into Marko's guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Harper closes the distance and clinches up with Marko, looking for a takedown. Harper pushes Marko against the cage but Marko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

so Harper counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
