Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Garcia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jose Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Garcia comes to the cage accompanied by Better Off Dead - Death From Above 1979. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Garcia! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jose Stark! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Stewart Dunkirk and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Garcia is defended easily by Stark. Stark changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Garcia lunges at Stark with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Stark's hand. Garcia tests Stark's chin there with a solid looking shot. Jose Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Garcia moves into the clinch. Garcia pulls Stark into guard.
Stark connects with a couple of short punches. Garcia trying to keep a closed guard but Stark is proving a slippery customer.

Stark got a little sloppy there for a moment and Garcia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Stark has managed to get both his arms back between Garcia's legs - danger averted. Garcia is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Stark defends well. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stark accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Stark works his way back into a safe position though. Garcia is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Garcia takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Stark looks up at the clock and then as Garcia takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Stark smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Garcia taking punishment in the form of punches.
Garcia on the wrong end of some ground and pound. Garcia sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Garcia is looking to improve his position.
Nice strikes from Stark there. Garcia is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stark pulls his head out easily. Garcia is looking to control Stark's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Garcia avoid being mounted? And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Jose Stark will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A shot to the liver by Garcia. Beautiful body shot. Stark takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Stark gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Garcia. A left lands for Garcia. Stark feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Garcia had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Stark defends it easily. Stark scoring with some ground and pound.
Garcia is rocked! Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stark's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Oh Garcia is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Stark chips away with some ground and pound. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Garcia is trying to keep Stark in close.
Stark postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Garcia covers up, he's hurt! Stark keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Stark and the ref steps in to end the fight! Stark can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
