Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Geraldo Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Callum Ruttenum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ruttenum is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: DMX- X gon give it to ya. Callum Ruttenum will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Geraldo Mason! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Callum Ruttenum! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ruttenum tries a head kick but it misses.
Ruttenum looks to land a left hand but Mason moved out of range nicely. Mason feinted with a counter takedown. Ruttenum looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Mason pushes Ruttenum off and gets back to his feet. Ruttenum drives through and clinches with Mason against the cage.
Ruttenum pulls guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ruttenum looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Ruttenum looking for a sweep. Not yet Ruttenum, not yet. Mason loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Mason chips away with some ground and pound. Ruttenum looking for a sweep. Not yet Ruttenum, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruttenum has his foot on Mason's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mason works his way back into a safe position though. Mason preventing the sweep. Mason postures up and lands a big shot to Ruttenum's brow. Mason would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Ruttenum is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mason is aware though and is defending well. Ruttenum looks winded! Mason trying to control the position from guard on top but Ruttenum is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ruttenum is working an open guard so Mason takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Mason tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Mason takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Mason looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Ruttenum shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mason manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Mason has his feet on Ruttenum's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Ruttenum blocks a head kick by Mason.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mason shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Mason stops Ruttenum from standing up. Mason passes Ruttenum's left leg - he's now in half guard. Mason decides to return to a standing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ruttenum closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Mason manages to escape and get back to his feet! The fight moves into the clinch position. Mason jumps guard but Ruttenum turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Mason breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ruttenum shoots in and gets a takedown into Mason's guard. Mason uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mason dives in and scores a takedown into Ruttenum's guard. Mason controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Ruttenum looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mason has picked Ruttenum up and slammed him! Ruttenum can't keep hold of the triangle and Mason manages to pass to side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason gets to mount! Ruttenum was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. Ruttenum is bucking up trying to escape but Mason cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Mason looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Ruttenum is wriggling around trying to escape.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Geraldo Mason dominated that round. That's time! Mason's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
No joy there for Mason, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Ruttenum pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Mason went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Ruttenum closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Ruttenum throwing shots but Mason is blocking nicely. Mason really is a fat lump. Ruttenum working over Mason with some ground and pound. Mason looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Ruttenum is looking to advance position but Mason won't allow it. Ruttenum sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Mason defending well though. Mason tries to get to full guard but Ruttenum has control of the leg. Mason gets full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mason controls Ruttenum momentarily but Ruttenum frees himself. Ruttenum stands up and waves to Mason to follow him. Ruttenum swings widly with a right hand
and Mason counters with a two punch combo. Mason scores with a takedown into Ruttenum's guard. Ruttenum kicks Mason off and gets to his feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ruttenum throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. It looked like Mason was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Callum Ruttenum seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mason throws a hook but Ruttenum blocks it. Mason closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ruttenum quickly recovers to half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mason lands a nice short elbow. Ruttenum avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mason. Mason thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Mason seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Ruttenum is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Geraldo Mason!
