Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrea Erra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Erra has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. The key to victory for Andrea Erra has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Erra misses with a wild combination.
Erra scores with a jab. Wilson acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Andrea Erra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Erra is breathing heavily. Erra throws a jab when Wilson was well out of range. Wilson misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Erra stuffs the takedown. Erra tries to keep at a distance but Wilson has taken the fight into the clinch. Erra pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Erra waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Wilson. Wilson is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Wilson walks into a straight right hand from Erra. Erra fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Wilson manages to avoid it. A punch lands to the side of Wilson 's head but he takes it in his stride. Wilson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Erra avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Wilson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Erra is staying active underneath Wilson, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Well, if Wilson is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Wilson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Erra is not content to let Wilson control the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Despite being in the dominant position, Mike Wilson just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Wilson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Erra circles away from the clinch attempt.

Horrible takedown by Wilson or perhaps it was just good defense by Erra which made him look bad. Andrea Erra has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Wilson. Wilson showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Erra.
Wilson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Erra's guard. Erra on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Erra tries to get out of the position. Wilson throwing strikes from guard but Erra blocks nicely. Wilson slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Wilson missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Wilson is stalling in the full guard. Wilson wants to pass the guard but Erra is keeping the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wilson trying to control the position from guard on top but Erra is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Wilson avoids a kick to the body.
Wilson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Wilson looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Mike Wilson dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Wilson throws a leg kick but Erra sees it coming and moves out of range. Wilson is looking to clinch. Erra keeps the fight on the outside. Erra misses with a straight left. Wilson is looking to clinch but Erra is avoiding it.
A bone on bone clash there as Erra blocks the leg kick.
No luck for Wilson with that takedown attempt. Wilson scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Erra won't allow Wilson to pass to mount. Wilson is trying to work for a kimura. He's got his hands clasped together - this could be trouble! No, Erra has managed to free his arm - good work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wilson is looking to take a break and control but Erra is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wilson tries to pass to full mount but Erra defends it. Wilson seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wilson tries to pass the half guard into mount. Erra knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Erra is trying to escape back to his feet but Wilson uses the scramble to pass into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. A lull in the action here. Wilson advances to full mount. Wilson wants to control the pace but Erra is squirming around nicely.

Wilson wants to finish this one by submission but Erra is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Wilson. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Wilson looking to control but Erra is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Wilson showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Wilson is looking to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Wilson. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Erra throws a hook but Wilson blocks it. Wilson shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wilson showed some decent athleticism there.
