Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cain Dos Anos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Neymar Junior!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dos Anos throws a low kick but Junior avoids it.
Junior throws a lazy right hand but Dos Anos sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Dos Anos has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Let's hope that Junior has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Junior can do anything to dispel that myth.

Junior is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Dos Anos is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Junior is trying to control the action in half guard but Dos Anos is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Dos Anos holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
It looks like Junior is going to stand back up.
Junior is keen to just control but Dos Anos is a slippery customer.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
