Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Stan Dupp (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Puggy Baconbreath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Puggy Baconbreath enters the ring!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stan Dupp!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Puggy Baconbreath!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dupp defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Baconbreath.
Baconbreath shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Stan Dupp seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dupp misses with a jab, cross combination.
Dupp throws a right and a left that Baconbreath avoids nicely.
It seemed like Baconbreath was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Dupp throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Baconbreath.
Dupp throws a sloppy body shot
and Baconbreath counters with a low kick, right behind Dupp 's knee.
A looping hook to the body misses from Dupp. Baconbreath does a little dance to reset his feet.
Baconbreath feints a counter leg kick.
Baconbreath moves away from the strike by Dupp.
Baconbreath steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Dupp.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Baconbreath gets a double leg takedown into Dupp's guard.
Baconbreath wants to control from the top but Dupp keeps moving.
Baconbreath might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Dupp haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Dupp is controlling Baconbreath's posture.
Dupp keeping full guard, as Baconbreath tries to pass.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Baconbreath has eaten all the pies!
Baconbreath trying to control but Dupp is working from the bottom.
Dupp wants to stand but Baconbreath is controlling the position.
Baconbreath pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Dupp is keeping the position for now.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Dupp has control of Baconbreath's left arm, preventing Baconbreath from doing any damage.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Nice defenses there by Baconbreath.
A telegraphed right hand from Dupp misses the target.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Baconbreath wants to clinch
and Dupp makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Baconbreath takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Baconbreath has closed the distance and engaged Dupp in a clinch.
Dupp blocking some punches.
Dupp pushes Baconbreath back against the ropes and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Baconbreath is trying to drag Dupp to the mat but Dupp just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
A nice right hand lands inside from Dupp.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Dupp looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Dupp scores with a shoulder strike.
Baconbreath is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dupp is keeping busy.
Dupp is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the ropes.
Baconbreath is trying to maintain a safe position but Dupp gets an underhook and turns Baconbreath into the ropes.
Dupp swings wildly with an uppercut but Baconbreath uses good head movement to avoid it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Baconbreath is struggling to control the position.
Dupp gets underhooks to prevent Baconbreath's takedown attempt.
Stan Dupp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Puggy Baconbreath.
The referee calls for Baconbreath to work.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Dupp lands a right hand that snaps the head of Baconbreath backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stan Dupp dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Dupp moves out of range of the strikes.
Dupp definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Dupp throws a shot from downtown. Baconbreath moves away and avoids it.
Baconbreath looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Dupp throws a sloppy body shot
and Baconbreath counters with a body kick.
Dupp fails to land with a series of punches.
Dupp lands a hook that stumbles Baconbreath back into the ropes. Dupp follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Baconbreath to the canvas! Dupp pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Baconbreath has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Stan Dupp!
