Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Myles Dawson! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Cline. Dawson throws a lazy head kick and Cline counters with a shoot takedown. Dawson fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are working up against the cage. Dawson manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. Dawson can't break the clinch.
Cline lands with a left to the head. Dawson is trying to pull guard but Cline has him pressed against the cage. Cline manages to break the clinch.
Dawson fails to land the takedown. Dawson tries for a takedown but Cline sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Alberto Cline has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Myles Dawson. Cline takes a head kick and keeps coming.
It looks like Alberto Cline has been cut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cline shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Cline showed some decent athleticism there. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Dawson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Good leg kick by Cline there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Myles Dawson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dawson misses with a kick to the body and Cline counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cline. Cline has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cline chips away with some ground and pound. Cline makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Cline content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Dawson! Cline is trying to get an arm triangle but Dawson is defending well. Cline is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Dawson knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Dawson is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cline has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Cline is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Dawson is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Cline is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Dawson has escaped the position, nice work there.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Cline landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cline looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
And that's the end of the fight! Alberto Cline showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cline has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
