The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Franks throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Franks lands a shoulder strike.

Franks manages to break the clinch.
Franks will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Franks throws a body shot but no joy.
Williams seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Franks shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Franks misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Willie Franks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Williams's jab looks to have found its range, popping Franks under the eye.


It looks like Willie Franks has been cut.
Williams scores with a hook.
Williams uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Franks .
It looked like Williams was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Williams swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Williams throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Franks .
Williams misses the shot to the body.
Franks is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Williams with a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Franks looks to throw the jab but Williams is out of range.
Franks throws a body punch but Williams moves out of range.
Franks throws a nice looking combination but Williams bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Franks gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Williams blocks a jab.

Williams scores with a nice head shot.

Franks looks to score with a jab to the body but Williams is just out of range.
Franks is still on wobbly legs! Can Williams finish him?
Williams fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Franks looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Franks looks winded!
Williams connects with a nice cross there... Franks is looking wobbly and Williams recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Franks to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Williams jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!

Sonny Bill Williams decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
The defeated Willie Franks had this to say: 'Next fight will be different '.
