Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Richard Clark and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lally to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Lally is pushing down on Silva's leg trying to pass to half guard. Silva is fighting to maintain full guard but Lally has managed to sneak the leg through.
Silva knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lally on the ground.
Well, if Lally is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lally is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Silva is just riding it out for now. Lally eventually gives up the hold.
Lally not doing much here.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lally prevents Silva from standing back up.
Lally working the head and body with strikes.
Lally not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Lally is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Lally prevents Silva from improving his position.

Lally moves nicely into side control.
Silva really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Silva is working to avoid the ground and pound but Lally connects with a decent elbow.
Lally moves into full mount!
Lally content just to control the position here.
Lally working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Silva looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Lally! Submission of the night perhaps?
