Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeffery Wrangler!
The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Huffman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Wrangler sprawls well initially but Huffman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Huffman stalling.

Wrangler is defending against the submission attempts here by Huffman.

Huffman decides to return to a standing position.

Huffman looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Huffman stands up out of the half guard.

Huffman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Huffman sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Huffman postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Huffman is stalling in the full guard.
Huffman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Huffman passes Wrangler's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Wrangler wants to control but Huffman is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Huffman postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Wrangler to stand up.

Huffman dives in and scores a takedown into Wrangler's guard.

Huffman cracks Wrangler with a solid left hand.
Huffman slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Huffman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Huffman lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
Huffman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Huffman seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wrangler for as long as he can get away with.

Wrangler looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Huffman lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Huffman is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wrangler looking for a sweep. Not yet Wrangler, not yet.
Wrangler really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Huffman. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Huffman lands a couple of elbows.
Huffman makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.

Huffman stands up from guard. Let's bang!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Wrangler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Huffman but Huffman pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Huffman scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Huffman has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Wrangler defend it? Huffman steps over the head and cranks it - Wrangler is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Huffman!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Broderick Huffman!
