Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ric Flores (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ola John (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flores comes into the arena with Napalm & Erruption- In San Francisco blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ric Flores! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
18 - 9 - 0, fighting out of London, Ola John! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! John throws an overhand right that lands on Flores's shoulder, as Flores tries to avoid the shot. Flores avoids the head kick by John.
Flores slips a straight right by John. Flores throws a series of punches but John avoids them all with ease. John leaves Flores with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A nice leg kick lands there from Flores. John staying out of range there. John needs to keep his hands up - Flores had a free shot at his head there. Flores connects with a single shot there. Flores connects with a single shot there. Flores gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. John breaks the clinch.
John shoots in for a takedown but Flores shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Flores thows a left - swing and a miss! Flores scoring well with a low kick there.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Flores gets in close and instigates a clinch. Flores breaks the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flores doesn't succeed with the takedown and John connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. John keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Flores decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Flores is trying to work for a kimura but John is defending well.
Flores looks to score some points with some ground and pound. John wants to improve his position but Flores is controlling well.
Flores has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. John on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Flores slips a nice elbow through John's hands, connecting with John's forehead. Flores working over John with some ground and pound. John looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Flores trying to control from half guard but John is working away. Flores is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flores seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. John is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
