Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tyson Pain! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 1, fighting out of London, Tommy Lynch! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Ryoma Takatsuka and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lynch works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Pain dives in and scores a takedown into Lynch's guard. Pain stays in close to Lynch's body and controls the position. Lynch has his hands on Pain's head, controlling the position. Pain won't allow Lynch to get back to his feet. Pain pushes down on Lynch's leg and manages to get into half guard. Pain wants to pass to mount but Lynch is defending the position. Lynch trying to control but Pain postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pain stops Lynch from getting back to his feet.

Lynch bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Lynch must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Pain escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lynch gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Pain keeping full guard, as Lynch tries to pass. Pain is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Lynch defends well.

He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Pain is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lynch is posturing up here but Pain has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Lynch tries to roll out but it's too tight and Lynch has to tap! Slick submission there by Pain!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Tyson Pain! Tyson Pain really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that GREEN!160 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
