Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Anders Funk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Skeng Man!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Chad Campbell and Eddie Farnsworth.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Funk counters with a nice uppercut.
Funk thows a leg kick but Man checks it

and Man counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Man.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Funk is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Man working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Man throws a big elbow that misses.
Funk wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Man content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Man is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Funk doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Man.

Man with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Man drops back, looking for a kneebar! Funk looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Funk looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Funk!

Man tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Funk presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Man is trying to escape the mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Skeng Man dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Funk might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Man is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Man extends the arm and Funk is forced to tap!
