Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Joe Schilling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karly Maybi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Maybi has chosen Bad blood as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Joe Schilling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Karly Maybi! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maybi tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Schilling manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Schilling is looking for a counter combo. Maybi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Schilling finds it's way round the side to connect with Maybi's head. Maybi misses with a leg kick and Schilling connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Maybi tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Schilling counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Schilling ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Maybi doesn't manage to clinch there - Schilling circles away.
Schilling scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Schilling scores with a kick to the midsection. Maybi blocks a low kick nicely. Maybi changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Schilling avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Schilling loads up on a big right hand but Maybi slips the punch. Maybi tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Schilling ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Maybi moves away. Schilling feints and then cracks Maybi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Maybi down. Schilling avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Schilling connects with a leg kick. Maybi looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Maybi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Maybi is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Maybi tries to clinch up.

Maybi's coach down at The Foundry was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Maybi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Schilling lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Maybi at a distance.
Schilling throws a leg kick that misses. Maybi tries to close the distance and clinch but Schilling swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Schilling scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Schilling tries to keep at a distance but Maybi has taken the fight into the clinch. Maybi misses with an elbow strike.
Schilling lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Maybi backwards. Maybi is trying to break free. Schilling misses with an elbow over the top. Schilling lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Still in the clinch, Schilling scores with a nice short uppercut. Schilling lands with a right to the head. Schilling manages to break the clinch.

Schilling fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Schilling lands with an uppercut that bounces Maybi off the cage and back into range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Maybi fails in his attempt to clinch. Maybi defending well as Schilling loads up on a big left hand. Schilling has taken the fight to the clinch.
Maybi unloads a knee to the mid-section. Schilling lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Maybi is trying to maintain a safe position but Schilling gets an underhook and turns Maybi into the cage. Maybi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Schilling avoids it. Schilling fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Maybi misses with an elbow over the top. With the two fighters working up against the cage, Maybi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Schilling's brow. Schilling fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Schilling lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Schilling makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Schilling avoids a wild elbow strike from Maybi. Maybi blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Maybi is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Joe Schilling dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Maybi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Schilling is out of range and Maybi settles back down. Maybi takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Joe Schilling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schilling throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Maybi. Maybi tries to counter with a clinch but Schilling shakes him off and moves away. Maybi wants to clinch up but Schilling keeps it at a distance. Schilling swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Maybi doesn't manage to clinch there - Schilling circles away.
Maybi tries to clinch and Schilling counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Maybi wants to clinch up but Schilling keeps it at a distance. Schilling with a nice cross. Maybi is still on wobbly legs! Can Schilling finish him? Schilling buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Schilling cracks Maybi with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Maybi falls to his knees and Schilling doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Joe Schilling! A very excited looking Joe Schilling made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction. The defeated Karly Maybi had this to say: 'He's the better fighter today. But i will have revenge'.
