No luck for jackson with that takedown attempt.
Rich shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and jackson counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
jackson slips a nice elbow through Rich's hands, connecting with Rich's forehead.
Rich is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but jackson pulls his head out easily.

Rich had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. jackson is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rich Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take jackson's back instead.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from jackson.
