The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edmund looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fujisawa goes for a double leg but Edmund avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Edmund continues to drive forward.
Fujisawa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Edmund .
Edmund just misses with a punch to the body.
Edmund swings and misses with a hook to the body.

Fujisawa changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Edmund tries to avoid it but Fujisawa manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Edmund to the ground. Edmund escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Nick Edmund has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mazuhiro Fujisawa.

and Edmund counters with a crisp right hand that drops Fujisawa! Edmund lets Fujisawa back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
