Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matthew Newell!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Daniel Franklin and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Newell misses with a series of wild punches.
Junior closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Newell to the mat! Newell manages to get full guard.
Junior drops back looking for a leg! Newell is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Newell manages to kick Junior off! Junior jumps back into Newell's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Junior is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Junior drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Junior jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Newell wants to sweep but no luck.
Junior slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Newell is looking for a sweep.
Newell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Junior. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Junior has hold of Newell's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Newell seems comfortable defending it but Junior has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Newell is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Newell is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Junior couldn't care less - he's delighted!
