Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Connor McGuinness and Greg Ward. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Connor McGuinness! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 1 losses; Greg Ward! The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. McGuinness has managed to clinch.

McGuinness escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Ward gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. McGuinness working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ward doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ward manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Ward passes easily into side control. Nice work. Possibly, maybe, no Ward has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Ward wants to lay and pray for a moment but McGuinness keeps working. Ward swings around for an armbar but McGuinness sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Ward's guard. That's two minutes gone in the round. McGuinness tries to free his leg and advance position but Ward is retaining full guard. Ward is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. McGuinness is aware though and is defending well. Ward looking to control.

It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McGuinness defends it well.
