Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Thufir Hawat and Jonthan Henry . Henry has chosen hit em up as his entrance music. Jonthan Henry is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Henry rushes Hawat and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Henry has Hawat pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hawat manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Henry is looking to take this one to the mat. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Henry has Hawat pulled in close to control his posture. Hawat has gone for a leg lock! Henry defends it easily. Hawat escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Henry gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hawat is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Henry defends well.

Henry really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hawat. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Henry not doing much here.
