Coming up we have a welterweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Ned Nedeltsev and Andrew Henry . Henry is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by down for my niggas. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Tokyo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Ned Nedeltsev! And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Andrew Henry ! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Henry moves into the clinch. Henry jumps guard but Nedeltsev stands there with Henry around his waist. Henry gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Henry decides to pull guard. Nedeltsev trying to control the position from guard on top but Henry is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Henry is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Nedeltsev wants to control from the top but Henry keeps moving. Henry pulls Nedeltsev in close to prevent any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Henry looking for a sweep. Not yet Henry , not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Henry is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Nedeltsev tries to free his leg and advance position but Henry is retaining full guard. Nedeltsev works a leg free and moves into half guard. Henry trying to control from the bottom.
Nedeltsev is working for a kimura but Henry is defending it quite comfortably.
Henry is looking for a sweep. Nedeltsev is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Still in half guard, Nedeltsev seems content to control. Henry holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Henry wants to control but Nedeltsev is keeping busy.

Henry regains full guard. Nicely done. Henry trying to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nedeltsev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Henry swivels though and keeps the full guard. Henry keeping moving, preventing Nedeltsev from controlling successfully. Nedeltsev is pushing down on Henry 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Henry is fighting to maintain full guard but Nedeltsev has managed to sneak the leg through. Henry wants to control but Nedeltsev is keeping busy and won't allow it. Henry is holding on to half guard well. Henry is trying to get back to full guard. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Nedeltsev stalling away here and it's allowed Henry to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Nedeltsev has gone for a leg lock! Henry slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nedeltsev's guard. Henry is trying to control the action in half guard but Nedeltsev is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Henry works his foot free and advances to mount. Henry might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Nedeltsev haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Henry tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Henry trying to control but he's not successful this time. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Henry working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Henry is trying to take his opponent's back.
Henry takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Henry tries to control but Nedeltsev wriggling away.

Nedeltsev is desperately trying to improve his position but Henry has a good base and remains in mount. Henry is looking to work his way around to Nedeltsev's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position. Nedeltsev can't escape the position.

Henry tries to take Nedeltsev's back but instead Nedeltsev uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Henry tries to pass to full mount but Nedeltsev defends it. Henry wants to control but Nedeltsev is keeping him busy.
That's ten minutes gone in the round. Nedeltsev slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Nedeltsev is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Let's hope that Henry has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Henry tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Henry has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Nedeltsev is holding Henry down, trying to stall.
