Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
17 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Wrestlefuck Wrestling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Alan Sansing! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Felipe Paraventi and Luis Engracia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sansing shoots in for a takedown but Wrestling shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sansing uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wrestling.
A big right from Wrestling misses. Wrestling waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sansing. Sansing slips a jab from Wrestling. Sansing shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Sansing dives in for a single leg takedown but Wrestling sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Wrestlefuck Wrestling has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Sansing. Sansing has his takedown stuffed enabling Wrestling to counter with a crisp jab. Wrestling fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sansing shoots in and bounces Wrestling off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Wrestling is pulling down on Sansing's head to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sansing showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Wrestling is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Sansing is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Wrestling is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Sansing won't allow Wrestling to sweep him here.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Sansing shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sansing in particular looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sansing tries to pass to full mount but Wrestling defends it. Sansing wants to control but Wrestling is keeping him busy. Sansing content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Wrestling is trying is best to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Wrestling trying to hold on to Sansing's head to control him but Sansing postures up.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sansing is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Wrestling! Wrestling is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Wrestling is just holding on here. Sansing manages to take his back.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Sansing has the hooks in. Wrestling is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Alan Sansing will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sansing shoots in and drives through. Wrestling sprawls well. Wrestling appears to be looking for a big counter. Sansing fails with the takedown. Wrestling defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sansing. Wrestling went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Wrestlefuck Wrestling has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alan Sansing. Sansing looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Wrestling is fending him off so far but Sansing persists. Nope, Wrestling circles away and we're back to standing. Wrestling tries to counter by clinching up but Sansing breaks away and moves out of range. No luck for Sansing with that takedown attempt. Sansing misses with a takedown attempt - Wrestling sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Sansing is defended easily by Wrestling. Sansing gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wrestling counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wrestling lands with a nice body punch. Sansing shoots in for a takedown but Wrestling shows good takedown defense. Wrestlefuck Wrestling is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Sansing staying out of range there. Sansing shoots in looking for a takedown but Wrestling manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sansing's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sansing closes the distance and clinches up with Wrestling, looking for a takedown. Sansing pushes Wrestling against the cage but Wrestling circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. It looked like Wrestling wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Wrestling throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Wrestling connects with a body shot that sends Sansing's belly button to the back. Sansing throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wrestling tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sansing is in Wrestling's guard. Wrestling is looking to stand back up but Sansing counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Wrestling. Wrestling on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Wrestling tries to get out of the position. Wrestling is looking to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sansing sitting and controlling from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wrestling is trying to get back to full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Wrestling is working hard here to advance position. Wrestling keeping hold of Sansing's head, controlling as best he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wrestling is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Sansing's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Sansing's back! Sansing trying to control the position but Wrestling manages to sink in the hooks. Sansing is in bad spot here.

Wrestling wants to control the action but instead Sansing gets a body lock and reverses into Wrestling's guard! Nice work! Wrestling is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Sansing dives into side control.
Sansing slows the pace down. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Sansing has knee on belly and moves into mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

And that's the end of the fight! Alan Sansing comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Sansing has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
