Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Desmond Devil (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nat Sherman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Desmond Devil has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Desmond Devil! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nat Sherman! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sherman throws a lazy uppercut
and Devil counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Sherman has his takedown stuffed and Devil connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A swing and a miss from Devil. A looping hook to the body misses from Devil. Sherman does a little dance to reset his feet. Devil takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Devil clinches up with Sherman and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Devil is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. The referee is keeping an eye on Devil - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Devil moves out of range as Sherman strikes. Sherman takes a swing at Devil's ribcage but misses. Sherman fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Devil manages to avoid it. Sherman takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Sherman lands a nice looking body shot.
Sherman looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Devil misses with a wild body shot. Devil throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sherman tries for a takedown but Devil sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A little feinted left hand from Devil on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Devil lands a slapping body shot.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sherman takes a swing at Devil's ribcage but misses. Devil misses with a looping right. Devil throws out a loose jab but Sherman uses good head movement to avoid it. Devil seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Sherman swings widly with a right hand
and Devil counters with a lovely straight right hand! Sherman on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Devil takes a swing at Sherman's ribcage but misses. Sherman is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Devil cracks Sherman with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd. Sherman misses the body punch and Devil connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Devil throws a right and a left that Sherman avoids nicely.

Sherman throws an overhand right that lands on Devil's shoulder, as Devil tries to avoid the shot. Sherman shoots in for a takedown but Devil shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Desmond Devil has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nat Sherman. Devil throws a right and a left that Sherman avoids nicely. Devil ducks under a wild hook from Sherman. Devil ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Sherman moves away. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Devil throws a body shot but no joy. And Sherman tries to counter it with a takedown but Devil pushes his down on his head and steps out. Sherman blocks a jab. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Devil gets a clinch. Devil tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sherman scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Devil tries to bum rush Sherman with a series of wild strikes but Sherman uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Devil drives through and clinches with Sherman against the cage.
Sherman keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Devil's efforts to push away. A head punch blocked on the inside by Devil. Sherman tries for a takedown. No joy.

Devil is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sherman can do to turn this around? Devil fails to land with a series of punches.

Devil lands a lovely overhand right. Devil lunges at Sherman with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Sherman's hand. Sherman takes one to the chin there. Sherman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Sherman feints the counter takedown. Devil lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sherman at a distance.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sherman circles away from the clinch attempt.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Devil is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Devil has had enough of the clinch but Sherman keeps him there for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Devil lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Sherman is rocked! Devil cracks a nice hook into Sherman's ribs. Sherman is still on wobbly legs! Can Devil finish him? Devil weaves into range and cracks Sherman right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Sherman goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Devil is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Desmond Devil! An out of breath Desmond Devil thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
