Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dave Greco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Xi Ling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dave Greco!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Xi Ling!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Ben Hemmingworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Greco tries to clinch but Ling moves away
and Ling counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Ling is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Greco is just riding it out for now. Ling eventually gives up the hold.

Ling is working for a submission of some sort.
Ling should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ling is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Greco doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Ling.
Ling is figuring out what he wants to do next.

Greco is trying to maintain the position but Ling is very close to passing his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ling takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Greco knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ling on the ground.
Greco is defending against the submission attempts here by Ling.
Ling is working for a kimura but Greco is defending it quite comfortably.
Ling seems to be looking for submissions.

Greco tries to get to full guard but Ling has control of the leg.

That's time! Greco's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Greco moves into the clinch.
Greco trying to control the position but instead, Ling has worked for underhooks and has pushed Greco into the cage.
Ling is trying to trip Greco. He has hold of a leg but Greco is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ling persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Greco is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ling presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ling has eaten all the pies!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Greco can't keep his opponent in guard - Ling advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Greco is trying to get back to full guard.
Still in half guard, Ling seems content to control.
Ling is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Greco is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
