Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eric Verra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Alvario (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Jon Alvario was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Alvario!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verra closes the distance and lands a one-two.
It looks like Jon Alvario has been cut.
Verra feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Alvarios jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Alvario throws a leg kick that misses.
Alvario seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Verra shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Alvario is backing up but Verra catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Alvario covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Verra Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Eric Verra!
