Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Drew Fournier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damn Daniel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drew Fournier looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Drew Fournier! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Damn Daniel! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Dean Styles and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fournier looks for a takedown but Daniel sprawls well. Daniel shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Daniel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fournier keeps working. Fournier actively working from the bottom here. Daniel is keen to just control but Fournier is a slippery customer. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ground and pound from Daniel. Daniel takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Fournier wants to control but Daniel is keeping busy and won't allow it. Fournier looking for submissions off his back.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fournier looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Fournier is breathing heavily. It looks like Daniel is going to stand back up.
Daniel is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Fournier doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Daniel. Well, if Daniel is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Daniel is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Daniel seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Fournier does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Daniel not doing much here.
Fournier tries to get to full guard but Daniel has control of the leg. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Daniel seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Daniel is looking to stall here but Fournier recovers full guard. Fournier is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Daniel defends well. Daniel trying to control but Fournier is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Daniel scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Daniel wants to control from the top but Fournier keeps moving. Daniel scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Daniel stands and throws Fournier's legs to the side, diving into side control. Daniel trying to control the action but Fournier is working from the bottom. Daniel is working Fournier over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Daniel blocks the strikes from Fournier.
Daniel really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fournier. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Fournier manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Daniel wants to stand up but Fournier manages to regain full guard. Daniel trying to control the position from guard on top but Fournier is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Daniel tries to free his leg and advance position but Fournier is retaining full guard. Fournier has a closed guard, preventing Daniel from standing up. Daniel postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Fournier working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Daniel has passed into half guard!
Daniel has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Fournier defend it? Daniel steps over the head and cranks it - Fournier is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Daniel!
