The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whitley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Polekovich is fending him off so far but Whitley persists. Nope, Polekovich circles away and we're back to standing.

Whitley gets caught napping as Polekovich dives in and scores a takedown. Whitley manages to retain guard.
Whitley could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Polekovich is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Polekovich frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
