Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Tuan Compton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meguru Takayanagi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Tuan Compton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Meguru Takayanagi! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Shigeki Sano and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takayanagi throws a half hearted mid kick. Takayanagi has closed the distance and engaged Compton in a clinch.
Takayanagi unloads a knee to the mid-section. Takayanagi has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Compton is trying to keep an underhook but Takayanagi manages to get the takedown into half guard. Compton is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Takayanagi scores with a couple of nice shots. Takayanagi thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Takayanagi wants to work for an arm triangle but Compton is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Takayanagi passes to side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Takayanagi controlling the position from side mount. Takayanagi misses with the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takayanagi tries for a kimura but Compton is defending well. Takayanagi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Takayanagi controlling the position from side mount. It looks like Takayanagi might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Takayanagi tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Takayanagi has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takayanagi taking a breather here. Compton taking punishment in the form of punches.
Takayanagi working the ground and pound. Takayanagi is working to tighten his grip on Compton's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Compton has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Takayanagi is really squeezing tight and eventually Compton passes out! Takayanagi breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
