Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ira Dyer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Doodie Sheets!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dyer tries to sprawl but Sheets drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Sheets is working for a kimura but Dyer is defending it quite comfortably.
Dyer is controlling Sheets's trapped leg to prevent Sheets from advancing to side control.
Dyer is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sheets is just content to waste time from the top position. Dyer takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
Sheets throws a strike but Dyer rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.


That's one minute gone in the round.
Dyer throwing strikes but missing.
Sheets looks winded!
Sheets trying to keep a closed guard but Dyer is proving a slippery customer.
Dyer with a nice head shot there.
Sheets looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Sheets is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Sheets is striking but Dyer is not phased and passes to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Sheets is trying to control but can't.

Dyer is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Dyer lands with a punch from half guard.
Dyer not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Sheets taking some punishment here, with Dyer in his half guard.
Dyer is nestled in close to Sheets, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Dyer has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sheets trying to hold on to Dyer's head to control him but Dyer postures up.
Sheets trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!

Dyer is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Sheets has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Sheets reaches up to try and control the position but Dyer seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Sheets rolls and tries to escape and now Dyer has his back!

Dyer has got one arm under Sheets's chin. This could be trouble... Sheets trying to control the other hand but Dyer gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Sheets has tapped out! The fight is over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Ira Dyer!
