The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Cecil Peabody and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Baker tries to keep at a distance but Lodbrok has taken the fight into the clinch.
Baker on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Baker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Baker lands with a good body shot.
Lodbrok displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Baker throws out the jab.
Baker fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
We've been informed that Lodbrok has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Humphrey Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lodbrok checks a leg kick nicely.
Lodbrok throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lodbrok looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Baker throws a looping overhand right but Lodbrok ducks down to avoid it.
Lodbrok tries a quick counter leg kick but Baker is wise to it.
Baker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Baker moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Baker will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Baker throws out a loose jab but Lodbrok uses good head movement to avoid it.
Lodbrok looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Baker fails to land with a series of punches.
Baker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lodbrok moves away.
Lodbrok scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Baker throws a nice outside leg kick.
Lodbrok connects with a body shot.
Some bone on bone action there as Lodbrok checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

and Lodbrok counters with a nice right hand that sends Baker toppling to the canvas! Baker scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Lodbrok finish him?!

Baker is rocked!
Baker lands with a nice combination. Lodbrok backs away looking to recover.
Oh Baker is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

and Lodbrok counters with a crisp right hand that drops Baker! Lodbrok lets Baker back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Lodbrok has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Baker.
Baker throws a hook to the side of Lodbrok's head but Lodbrok sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Baker walks forward, straight into a front kick from Lodbrok.
Baker walks straight into a right hand from Lodbrok - that's dropped him! Lodbrok jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Baker from any more punishment! Baker complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Ivar Lodbrok!
Ivar Lodbrok is the new light heavyweight champion!
In his post fight interview, Ivar Lodbrok started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
In defeat, Humphrey Baker stepped up to the mic, saying 'If I cant kick ur ass...my momma can !'.
