Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Randy Jackson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tony Tiger!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Emerson Jorge.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Jackson.
Jackson looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Tiger throws a series of punches but Jackson avoids them all with ease.
Tiger tries to bum rush Jackson with a series of wild strikes but Jackson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Tiger scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.

Tiger changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jackson tries to avoid it but Tiger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jackson to the ground. Jackson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Tiger feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Tiger wants to stand and escape but instead Jackson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Jackson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Tiger paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Tiger lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jackson circles away quickly and effectively.

Tony Tiger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

You can see the frustration on Tiger's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Randy Jackson.
Well Tiger has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
