The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Allessandri swats away the attempt to clinch by Ryan.
Ryan tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ryan fails in his attempt to clinch.
Allessandri is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Ryan moves to clinch but Allessandri breaks away

and Allessandri counters with a shoot takedown. Ryan fights it but they end up in guard.
Allessandri stands and throws Ryan's legs to the side, diving into side control.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Allessandri cracks Ryan with a big right hand but Ryan just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Ryan really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Allessandri loads up with a big shot that hurts Ryan! He's pulled Allessandri in close but Allessandri has postured up and lands more strikes. Can Ryan survive? More strikes from Allessandri and Ryan is out! The ref jumps in to save him! Brutal ground and pound!
