Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Robert Holdstock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cody Valentine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Robert Holdstock! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Cody Valentine! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Holdstock gets the takedown into side control. Valentine is looking for a sweep. Valentine really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holdstock. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Holdstock controlling from side mount. Holdstock tries to advance to mount but can't. Holdstock trying to control the action but Valentine is working from the bottom. Holdstock prevents Valentine from escaping the position. Valentine is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Holdstock is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Valentine tries to hold on but Holdstock pushes him away. Holdstock lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Holdstock looking to control but Valentine is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Holdstock prevents Valentine from getting the reversal.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holdstock wants to control the pace but Valentine is squirming around nicely. Valentine is in all sorts of trouble here.
Holdstock looking to control and managing it successfully. Holdstock is landing with some decent strikes but Valentine is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Holdstock trying to control but he's not successful this time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Valentine is looking to improve his position but Holdstock isn't that keen on the idea. Holdstock controlling from mount. Valentine gets back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Holdstock trying to pass the guard but Valentine defending well. Valentine wants to get back to full guard. Valentine is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Holdstock jumps into side control! Valentine tries to escape but Holdstock is in control. Holdstock scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Valentine to see if he's OK. Holdstock landing a few strikes. Holdstock wants to control but Valentine is keeping him busy. Holdstock tries to move to mount but Valentine blocks the move with his legs. Holdstock working the head and body with strikes.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Holdstock trying to control the action but Valentine is working from the bottom. Holdstock creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Valentine can do anything to dispel that myth. Valentine takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Holdstock in side control lands a decent elbow. Valentine is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Holdstock trying to control the action but Valentine is working from the bottom. Holdstock in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Holdstock advances to mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Holdstock has hold of Valentine's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Valentine manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Holdstock is breathing heavily. Valentine tries to get back to half guard but can't. Valentine is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Holdstock looking to control but Valentine is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Valentine is looking to get to half guard. Holdstock looking to control but Valentine is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Valentine is trying to reverse the position but instead Holdstock has taken his back - oops! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Robert Holdstock dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Valentine has Holdstock up against the cage in a clinch.
Holdstock successfully pulls guard.
Valentine trying to control the position from guard on top but Holdstock is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Holdstock looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Valentine slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Holdstock trying to keep a closed guard but Valentine is proving a slippery customer.
Holdstock keeping full guard, as Valentine tries to pass. Valentine drops back, looking for a kneebar! Holdstock looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Holdstock looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Holdstock! Valentine is breathing heavily. Holdstock trying to control the position but Valentine is working away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Valentine is looking for a sweep. Valentine has control of an arm but Holdstock manages to advance to Holdstock's back! Valentine rolls, trying to escape but Holdstock keeps control of the position.
Valentine is trying to stand back up. Valentine can't escape the position.
Valentine is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Holdstock biding his time, controlling Valentine. Can Valentine hold on?! Holdstock is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Holdstock is looking to control Valentine but Valentine is wriggling around and keeping busy. Valentine trying to control the hands but Holdstock won't let him. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Holdstock.
You can see the frustration on Valentine's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Holdstock controlling from the back. Holdstock scores with punches to the body. Holdstock is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Valentine has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Holdstock is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Valentine has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Holdstock has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Valentine taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Holdstock doesn't care though - he's delighted!
