Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Steve Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichi Takeshi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ichi Takeshi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Martin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ichi Takeshi!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Martin ducks under a wild hook from Takeshi.
Takeshi shoots for a double leg takedown but Martin sprawls well. He's pushed Takeshi's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Martin went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Martin steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Takeshi.

Takeshi shoots in looking for a takedown but Martin manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Takeshi's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
