The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A momentary lapse in concentration from Kunz enables Andersen to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Kunz manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Kunz has his feet on Andersen's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Andersen doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Kunz counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kunz throws a sloppy head kick
and Andersen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kunz is trying to stand.
Andersen stalling away here and it's allowed Kunz to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
Andersen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Kunz, up you get!
Andersen walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kunz shoots in and drives through. Andersen sprawls well.
Andersen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Kunz defends it nicely.
Andersen is breathing heavily.
Andersen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kunz.
Kunz gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Andersen counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kunz keeping moving, preventing Andersen from controlling successfully.
Kunz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Andersen controls the pace.

Kunz has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Andersen doesn't defend quickly enough and Kunz has managed to lock this one up! Can Andersen escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Kunz on a fantastic submission victory.
