Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Christopher Hensley!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Case Outlaw!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Outlaw stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Outlaw wants it to stay on the feet.
Outlaw tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hensley paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Hensley throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Outlaw tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hensley is in Outlaw's guard.
Hensley is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Outlaw manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Outlaw tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
The referee calls for Outlaw to work.
Hensley has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Outlaw after a bit of a struggle.

Outlaw jumps into guard, dragging Hensley to the mat.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Outlaw wants to stand up but Hensley is controlling him.
Outlaw looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hensley is one step ahead there.
Outlaw working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hensley.
Outlaw preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Hensley is working Outlaw over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Hensley stands up over Outlaw, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Hensley working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hensley scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Outlaw wants to stand and escape but Hensley is having none of it.
Outlaw wants to control the position but Hensley says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard.
Outlaw trying to get back to full guard but Hensley takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
Outlaw is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hensley with shots to the head and body - Outlaw looks very uncomfortable down there.
Outlaw is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Outlaw taking shots to the head.
Hensley raining down hammerfists from mount.

Hensley scores with a couple of good head shots there.


Outlaw is rocked!
Hensley postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Outlaw in real trouble here! The ref calls for Outlaw to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Christopher Hensley!
