The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Nascimento is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
A punch combination from Silva misses.
Sloppy strikes from Silva. Those never looked like landing.
Silva with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nascimento to score with a decent uppercut.
It looks like Sandor Silva has been cut.
We've been hearing reports that Silva has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Silva misses with a hook.
Nascimento lands a nice looking body shot.
Silva shoots in looking for a takedown. Nascimento tries to sprawl out of it but Silva keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Nascimento manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Nascimento.
Nascimento connects with a good right hand that stumbles Silva. Silva circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Silva throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Nascimento's waist but Nascimento gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Silva off to one side.
Silva is breathing heavily.
Silva looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nascimento works Silva's body with a nice hook.

Nascimento fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Nascimento with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nascimento lets loose with a powerful body kick. Silva will feel that in the morning.
Nascimento thuds a left hand into Silva's body.
Nascimento cracks Silva with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nascimento has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Silva to stand back up!
Silva is rocked!

Nascimento lands a big uppercut and this one is all over! His foe lies motionless on the canvas - a massive one punch knockout!
