Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mirko Filipovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jean Claude Patrick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Filipovic's entrance music is Wild boys. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patrick lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Filipovic circles away quickly and effectively.
Filipovic misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Patrick fails to land with a series of punches.
Nice jab there from Patrick.
It looks like Mirko Filipovic has been cut.
Filipovic throws a left and a right that both miss
and Patrick counters with a series of strikes. Filipovic will be more careful next time no doubt.
Patrick misses with a hook. Filipovic ducked under it nicely.
Jean Claude Patrick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filipovic throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Patrick.
Patrick lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Filipovic goes down and covers up as Patrick starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jean Claude Patrick!
