Junior Matielli could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to so punhetas's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Matielli scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Matielli is breathing heavily.
punhetas is looking to improve his position.
punhetas is trying to stand back up but Matielli is controlling him
punhetas manages to get to full guard.
punhetas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

punhetas working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Matielli doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Matielli manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Matielli is refusing to be controlled, as punhetas sits in half guard.

punhetas tries to pass to full mount but Matielli defends it.
punhetas is tying to control. Matielli wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

punhetas is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Matielli is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
