Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Morueco (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Doyle Hawk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hawk comes into a darkened arena with his song building. American Encore kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jorge Morueco has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jorge Morueco! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Doyle Hawk! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hawk darts in looking for a takedown but Morueco gets double underhooks and turns Hawk into the cage. Hawk just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromMorueco. Hawk with a poor takedown and Morueco cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hawk shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Morueco is trying to defend but Hawk finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Morueco looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Hawk looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Morueco has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Hawk is working for a kimura but Morueco is defending it quite comfortably.
Morueco is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hawk pulls his head out easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hawk is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Morueco is just riding it out for now. Hawk eventually gives up the hold. Morueco makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Morueco.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morueco working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hawk doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hawk manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Hawk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Hawk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Hawk is sitting in close to Morueco's body. Morueco has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Hawk is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Hawk is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Morueco.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Jorge Morueco! Jorge Morueco retains his light heavyweight title!
