Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Erik Bjorkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Baal Thackeray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Erik Bjorkman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Baal Thackeray! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Thackeray throws a jab when Bjorkman was well out of range. Thackeray misses with a jab to the body
and Bjorkman cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
It looks like Baal Thackeray has been cut. Bjorkman feints a jab promting Thackeray to slip. Bjorkman then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Thackeray slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Thackeray feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Bjorkman's calf. Thackeray has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Thackeray misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bjorkman lands with a hook. Thackeray tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Thackeray pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. No joy there for Bjorkman, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Thackeray misses with a left hand and Bjorkman connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Thackeray throws a lazy body kick and Bjorkman counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Thackeray throws a lazy head kick and Bjorkman counters with a stiff right hand. Thackeray is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Bjorkman. Thackeray swings widly with a right hand
and Thackeray takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Thackeray looks to land a combination but Bjorkman avoids it well. Thackeray throws a head kick that misses and Bjorkman counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Thackeray thinking. Nice body punch from Bjorkman. Bjorkman connects with the punch.
Thackeray is rocked! We've been told by Bjorkman's head coaches at The Fallen Warriors Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head kick by Thackeray misses and Bjorkman moves into the clinch. Bjorkman breaks from the clinch.
Thackeray throws a right hand that misses
and Bjorkman counters by moving into the clinch. Bjorkman lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Thackeray. Thackeray tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Thackeray can't find room to land a body shot as Bjorkman controls the action.
Bjorkman prevents a body shot from Thackeray. Bjorkman taking a breather. Thackeray tries to break the clinch but Bjorkman is controlling the position. Bjorkman breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thackeray throws a jab when Bjorkman was well out of range. Bjorkman jabs at Thackeray's body. Bjorkman cracks a nice hook into Thackeray's ribs. Thackeray looks winded! Bjorkman lands a body shot.
A head kick by Thackeray misses enabling Bjorkman to counter with a crisp jab. Bjorkman lands a jab to the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bjorkman throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Thackeray pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Bjorkman connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Bjorkman lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Thackeray - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Bjorkman!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Erik Bjorkman! A relieved looking Erik Bjorkman thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
